In this archive, RSPB, film we see the work of the society taking place at the, then, newly established headquarters at Sandy Lodge, Bedfordshire. The RSPB moved its HQ to Sandy in 1961, and I think this film must have been made shortly afterwards.
Narrated by Robert Dougall, the film also shows 16mm, ciné films being processed for hire from the library. Presumably this film was one of those that could be borrowed at the time.
