Produced in 1977 by Antony Barrier Productions for the Electricity Council and Thorn Domestic Appliances, "Kitchen Plan" shows how two families with contrasting lifestyles and different sized kitchens find particular solutions.
The film uses a humorous storyline involving the rivalry between two households to illustrate various aspects of kitchen planning and kitchen appliances.
The cast includes George Cooper who played the caretaker, Mr. Griffiths, in Grange Hill as well as many other credits in film and television. Also starring Julian Hollloway, the son of Stanley Holloway. Julian has also appeared in many film roles and was one of the ‘Carry On’ regulars.
