I've become more and more frustrated with how difficult it is to stabilize my Yunteng monopod/tripod stand in grass or on uneven surfaces. Therefore, I decided to get a monopod/tripod combo kit with longer legs and, thus, wider spread so it will be more stable in the grass in particular. I ended up with the Adorama store branded 3Pod Orbit Carbon Fiber Monopod/Tripod.
