This film contains footage of activity in the solar corona from 1956 to 1969. The footage is from the Sacramento Peak Observatory, the Lockheed Solar Observatory, the University of Hawaii and CSIRO, Sydney, Australia. The film also contains simulations of solar magnetic fields and fast mode MHD waves, and a data visualization pertaining to interplanetary waves. Film produced by the High Altitude Observatory, NCAR.
