👉Strong EU borders to enhance control and security
👉A firm, fair and adaptable asylum and migration system
👉Labour and talent mobility to boost competitiveness
👉Stepping up Migration Diplomacy
👉More effective return and readmission
Are the key pillars on the first European Asylum and Migration Management Strategy.

On January 29, the Commission presented the first European Asylum and Migration Management Strategy. It sets out the EU’s political objectives on asylum and migration and will serve as a compass with concrete priorities for the next five years. On top of that, the Commission also adopted its first-ever EU Visa Strategy, setting out a framework for a visa policy that advances the EU's long-term interests, and making visa policy more strategic and better equipped to respond to growing mobility, regional instability, and geopolitical competition.
