The work is completed. For decades, many of us in the watchmen community have spent endless hours giving blow-by-blow updates on world events, warning the body of Christ, and keeping watch. But over the past few weeks, a strange and powerful occurance has taken place across the prophetic body; God is bringing many well-trusted, faithful watchmen to an "end before the end."
Through a clear, undeniable conviction of the Holy Spirit, the message has been made plain: the assignment of endless posting and tracking every event has reached its full measure. It is finished, and that season is now behind us.
This is not a retreat or a surrender. As long as we are on this earth, we will run our race full and strong until our very last breath and the sound of the last trumpet. But our posture has changed. God is calling us to step away from the constant noise and enter into a season of quiet preparation, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Lord is extremely near.
