Once a prominent Hollywood actor, Kirk Cameron made a celebrated public commitment to Jesus Christ and became a recognized voice for sound biblical doctrine in Christian circles. For decades, he stood firm on the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
However, a troubling progression has marked a departure from these long-held beliefs. This shift appears to have begun with a change in his eschatology (end-times beliefs), which then developed into a public anti-Israel stance, effectively denying Israel's right to exist as a sovereign state, and culminating most recently in a controversial public renouncement of belief in a literal hell.
Our purpose in this video is not to 'drag Kirk through the mud.' Instead, we use this difficult public discussion as an opportunity to refocus on the core, non-negotiable truths of Scripture: the reality of heaven and hell, the urgency of the Gospel, and the absolute centrality of the Cross of Christ.
We will guide stirred hearts and emotions upwards to Jesus—the author and perfecter of our faith—and encourage constructive, biblical dialogue, rather than destructive talk. Join us as we examine what the Bible says about these vital doctrines and why they matter to every believer.
