Prof Shaun Gallagher is a philosopher working on embodied cognition, enactivism, phenomenology, and philosophy of mind. He is the Lillian and Morrie Moss Chair of Excellence in Philosophy at the University of Memphis and holds a secondary research appointment at the University of Wollongong. Prof Gallagher is the author and editor of numerous books, including Embodied and Enactive Approaches to Cognition, Oxford Handbook of 4E-Cognition, The Phenomenological Mind, and Enactivist Interventions. In this episode, we discuss the enactivist approach to cognitive science and philosophy of nature.

She is well known for her work on scientific practices, data-centric science, and open science policies. She was awarded the 2018 Lakatos Award for her book Data-Centric Biology: A Philosophical Study. Prof Leonelli is a leading figure in the philosophy of data and technology and the philosophy of Open Science. Dr Vlasta Sikimić is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Science and a member of the Philosophy and Ethics group at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research focus is on the Social Epistemology of Science, Metascience, Philosophy of AI & ML in Science and Philosophy of AI in Education. Prof Priest has published far and wide, spanning metaphysics, philosophical logic, the history of philosophy, and Asian philosophy, but is best known for his analysis of logical paradoxes, development of dialetheism, paraconsistent logic and defence of there being true contradictions. His scholarship includes over 300 journal articles and numerous books, such as In Contradiction (2006), Non-Classical Logic (2008) and perhaps his most popular book outside of academia, Oxford Universitys Logic: A Very Short Introduction (2001).
