When linguistics student, Nona Harvey started working for ABSCHOL, an organisation that provided university scholarships for Aboriginal people, she never dreamed that her role would take her from the University of Newcastle to a place 4,000 kilometres away.
A place where people were fighting for equal pay and the right to live on their own land retaining their own identity, customs and traditions.
