From ancient times through today, man has gazed into the heavens. Its vastness, complexity, and sheer beauty, is a source of constant wonder and fascination. This presentation focuses on man’s historical attempts to design mechanical devices that decode and predict our intricate web of existence in the pursuit of science, politics and religion.

Mark is an avid collector of astronomical Clocks. His interests are researching and collecting skeleton clocks which exhibit interesting mechanical characteristics as demonstrated through complexity, novelty or visual appeal. Astronomical clocks have all these characteristics. Mark has been a member of the NAWCC since 1993.
