The first stop on our Horological Tour of Britain led us to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, where we had the privilege of meeting Bonhams Antiquarian Specialist Lewis Walduck and the Ashmolean’s Assistant Keeper and Curator of Sculpture and Decorative Arts, Matthew Winterbottom.

Together, they showed the group a select collection of unique early watches.

Watch as Lewis Walduck highlights some of his favorite clocks, watches, and historical collectors connected to the museum. This incredible institution houses more than 300,000 catalogued objects from all over the world.
