Knowing how to make use of small-form computers and microcontrollers is a valuable skill for a hacker. But first you have to know the differences between them before you can program them to tailor to your needs. On this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab, we'll give you a short introduction to programming microcontrollers.

Bluetooth devices are everywhere. However, hacking these devices can be challenging unless you have a tool that can help you target them specifically. On this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab, well show you a module in Bettercap that enables you to scan for and query the services of Bluetooth devices. Even if devices use MAC address randomization, there are still ways to track them over time.

If you want to practice capturing handshakes on your wireless network adapter, its actually possible to do so using a single ESP8266 device. Using a D1 Mini, well generate both sides of a Wi-Fi handshake, simulating a device joining a Wi-Fi network nearby. Hackers can use this to practice capturing handshakes and cracking them.

For hackers, when gaining access to a macOS computer thats vulnerable, one of the first steps is to establish situational awareness. This means fingerprinting the device youve found yourself with access to, and its a good idea to find out what its connected to, what the user has permission to do, and begin gathering information about the system.
On Cyber Weapons Lab, well show you how to gather information on a macOS system today. To do this, well need a mcOS computer in order to profile it and try to dig up as much information as we can. Once you have one, you can also check out the excellent Null Byte article written by Tokyoneon, and I also encourage you to follow him on Twitter because his content is super great.
