In this video I show how I use an 1800W grill plate as a bed heater for a 3D printer. I think this makes sense because they're cheap, widely available and come in different sizes. Another advantage for me is the long shape which I'm going to utilize by letting it print like a belt printer and adding more gantries which will enable some interesting possibilities!
