Hi butterflies!!!
This is dedicated to my dog, Loki. He passed away 03-26-22 and was my best bud. Check the pinned comment to know more and get a breakdown on the animatic.
In case you don't though. I’m posting the rough animatic cuz I'm also looking for feedback. I want to use this to practice my storytelling and storyboarding. So I would like to hear your feedback. What you like, don’t like, anything!! However, do be constructive not rude. If you don't like something don't just say "I think it's dumb, or bad." Tell me what you don't like "I don't like this scene or think it works well because blah blah blah." Specifically I’d like to hear what you think of the compositions. Especially for the scenes with letters, such as Scene 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. Which is why I have the scene numbers in the corner of the screen to make it easier to tell me which scene you are referring to. For the scenes with letters I’m trying to decide which composition to use and I’d like to know which you like best! Also I’d be interested to hear what your thoughts are on the drawings in the background for scene 10. Should I keep them or not? My hesitance to keep them is because they don’t have much of a direct correlation to the story unless I use B for scene 19. It’s a cute idea, but I’m not sure if it would instead just be distracting or irrelevant overall.
Oh and I am going to make a more finished animatic after hearing any feedback you guys have. Before that I have one more rough animatic to make with Teach and Vane (I finally have an idea nailed down for their dedicated animation and have written out the script), so expect to see that first. But for the finished animatic I'll clean up the sketches, add color, and tweening. I'm not sure if this video and the upcoming one for Teach and Vane will ever be fully animated because that would take a lot of time. So, I'm going to make the finished animatic really nice in case I don't ever fully animate them.
