Jimmy Mills and his family have been coming to LS Fest for the last 12 years straight. They usually arrive the Sunday before LS Fest and camp all week to prepare. It's become their family vacation, and they always have an amazing time together. Jimmy and his son, from Irving, Kentucky, built the 1967 Chevrolet Impala they brought this year, a fastback two-door. Together, they handled everything from the body and paint to the engine and suspension. After trying several engine combinations, they settled on an all-aluminum 5.3 block. They're looking forward to finishing the car by next spring, showcasing it at more shows, and returning to LS Fest, with plans to build more cars as a family.
