I am attempting to find out if I understand what is meant by the demonstrations in a whole host of Youtube videos and 2 decades of internet arguements. The Traditional Wing Chun lesson define a "Central Line" for some of their hits, and in thei initial ready position, thei aim is on their Central Line(one of the two). The rest of WIng Chun/Ving Tsun and Wing Tsun do not use this term in this way. If they start turned, then their centerline is in this so-called Central line position, and what they want to be a centerline toward the attack is turned away, out to their defined Central line on the opposite side.
I think I have it, as they explain, and to be fair, I think they are saying they will switch between the centerline and the Central lines for aim or for a block,
I would like to know how Traditional Wing Chun people aim their blocks and attacks, how their choices are made for footwork?
