We head South on US Highway 101 from the town of Leggett, California. We drive through some scenic hills and climb up 1796 foot Rattlesnake Summit. We descend into the town of Laytonville and proceed further south past the town of Willits. We then climb 1953 foot Ridgewood Summit, which is the highest point on US 101. We make a scenic descent down the summit until we reach California State Route 20. We head west on Route 20 through the hills until we reach the town of Nice.
