We hit a Deer with our Van

Not all adventures are fun! Leaving Texas on our way to Albuquerque New Mexico a deer jumped out in front of our van. There was no stopping, no avoiding it. Suddenly our plans were thrown off kilter and we were faced with the brutal reality that we were stranded. We had hit a deer, and our car was totaled. The biggest bummer is that we had just fixed the van doors! Thankfully, with the help of family and kind friends we were able to get back on the road. These are the memories of that fateful night.
