A guy who could dine out the rest of his days, based purely on his looks, is international model and entrepreneur Zack Hartwanger. The truth is that most of what he’s achieved is down to a maverick attitude, learning from his mistakes… and maybe it didn’t hurt having a pretty face.
Naturally at home outdoors, Zack grew up in Hermanus, the son of an aerial crop-sprayer who was away months at a time to provide for his family.
So, when fortune shone on his modelling career, going international in no time, Zack kept it real - did a postgrad degree, became a top property broker and never stopped working.
The thinking man’s model, he treats fitness with the same, practical approach he takes to business. Which helped when Zack was let down by a business partner, found himself broke and had to start again. He bounced back with a property development consultancy and even through his own troubles, was there for friends Alpha Seck and Muneer Asmal.
When Zack's not developing property, modelling or braaing, he's plotting towards a long-term goal of starting a consultancy that helps entrepreneurs to flourish.
