Istanbul, Turkey is the fastest growing destination of choice for South African holidaymakers. But what exactly has it to offer? We hop on a Turkish Airlines plane with Lorna Maseko and find it our for you.
In the tradition of their capital city being the legendary link between Asia and Europe, Istanbul has become one of the most attractive stopover en route to 311 destinations, worldwide.
As part of her trip, Lorna had taken up the Turkish Airlines “Stopover” offer where business class travellers get two free nights at a five star hotel and economy travellers one night.
Lorna starts off the trip with a delicious fresh grilled fish served by Chef Can Dogan before she heads right into Istanbuls rich history. On her lust are the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III the Topkapi Garden, The Blue Mosque and more.
