Sometimes life here brings small surprises… like discovering that three big batches of bananas on our tree all turned out black in the middle. Not exactly the harvest we were hoping for, but that’s part of living close to the land. The good news is we cleared out all the old growth and debris around the tree, so hopefully the next round will produce a healthy crop in the coming months.
In today’s video I take you along for a typical day here in the Philippines. From doing some grocery shopping around town to stopping by April’s mom’s house to check on the progress of the new extension we’re building. It’s exciting to see it slowly coming together and imagine how it will look once everything is finished.
Life as an expat here isn’t always perfect, but even the little setbacks are just part of the adventure. Every day brings something new, and I’m glad you’re here to experience it with me.
