Coimbatore-based Milltex Engineers P. Ltd. has designed a cycle, called Spero, that can double up as an e-bike. Powered by a 48 volt Lithium ion battery, the bike can go 100 kms on a single charge and has a top speed of 25 km/h. If you run out of power or want healthier option, just switch to pedalling like a regular cycle whilst charging the battery on the go.
