With around 800,000 patients already waiting for joint replacements, a shortage of such a basic but critical medical material highlights how fragile our NHS has became.

Isn't it time we invest in producing our own NHS supplies so we are self reliant?

Patients in this country shouldn't be paying for the incompetence of repeated governments downgrading and running our NHS into the ground.
