Ian Roberts is a former Australian international representative rugby player, NSW State of Origin player and team member of South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wigan, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and North Queensland Cowboys during the 80s and 90s.

Not only did Roberts have an incredible sports career but his determination to make a difference by advocating for more awareness about concussion and CTE in contact sports has been well received. Roberts was the first rugby player in the world to come out to the public as gay and today he continues to inspire diversity and equality as he plans to open up Qtopia (a future Sydney LGBTQI Museum).

In this CLF Australia webinar, Executive Director Annitta Siliato spoke with Roberts to discuss his amazing journey so far and how he can inspire us all to have hope for the future.
