The new federal climate laws provide hundreds of billions of dollars to accelerate the transition to clean energy, but most people aren’t aware of how or why they should make the switch. Science Moms, a nonpartisan group of scientists who engage moms in tackling climate change, recently launched a new ad campaign, titled “Cleanversations,” to raise awareness of the negative health effects of dirty energy, especially on children, and promote the financial incentives for households and communities to adopt clean energy items like heat pumps and electric school buses. By starting Cleanversations, Science Moms lets parents across the country know: it’s never been easier — or more affordable — to help save our kids’ futures.
