It’s Christmas Eve and while jackofallspades98 is busily preparing for his second annual chain reaction for Santa, StickTrickDominoDude has lost his Christmas spirit. Then he gets a visit from someone in the night…
For the second year in a row, StickTrickDominoDude and I team up to tell a Christmas story with chain reactions. At first, we didn't want to make another Christmas Special, because we didn't think we could top last year’s video. But we got a suggestion from Sirgabealot G, who said we should make a video based on the plot of A Christmas Carol. StickTrickDominoDude started writing a script based on that title and presented the idea to me and I loved it immediately. So we decided to make A Chain Reaction Christmas Carol.
It was an incredibly hard task to accomplish because we had to do much more than build machines. We had to first write up a script for the film (It took up a total of 9 pages in a document, 13 including all the filming notes), decide what camera angles to film from, film all the scenes for the video, build two full length machines, and then edit the 15 minute long video (I did all the editing actually). We also decided to keep it secret from our viewers again so that they could have a nice surprise on Christmas Eve.
