A Bizarre Phantasm is an Extreme Demon that's been on my radar for over 10 years. I've always found this level more intriguing than I probably should. And after my recent RNG demon wheel that I completed on stream, I finally felt comfortable going for such a ridiculous level.
The first half of the learning and grinding experience was so much fun. But with bad luck, the end of the level becomes pretty insufferable. And my luck with the end was some of the worst I've had. The last 40% of the level is riddled with bad transitions, obscure physics bugs and some of the least intuitive choke points you can find in Extreme Demons.
Enjoyment: 6/10
Hardest part: 58-83 but specifically 66
Worst part: Miner
Honorary worst part: Woogi

Regardless of personal turmoil, this was a gratifying experience that has turned into one of my all time best Geometry Dash videos.

I first heard this song a year or two ago and was instantly captivated its build up and intense energy. Ive been a fan of Sleep Token in general for a couple years, but Ive never felt capable of capturing any of his songs with sufficient representation until The Apparition.
Dont expect my future layouts to match this level of theatrics with the triggers and particle effects and all. That was a huge hassle to get just right and I do not want to do that again unless I really feel like its representatively necessary if that makes sense.
Ive been wanting to branch out from whats understood to be my gameplay style. This level and its song was the perfect opportunity to try something new and not rely on duals so much. I believe the duals make up less than 20% of this level which may be my lowest in years.
This level being as long and hard as it is will certainly put this out of reach for the vast majority of my community. But regardless, I hope you all enjoyed watching the finished product at the very least.
