While looking for a way to package some larger IKEA votive candles, I looked at the purple bag from 4 1/2" by 6 1/2" week. So, I created a larger version sized to fit three 2 1/4" diameter by 3/4" tall IKEA votive candles. Coincidentally, they will also fit the Yankee Candle Wax Melts, which smell lovely, and also the embellishment cases from Stampin' Up! whether new or refilled for gifting.
While looking online, I did see some similar boxes that were made with a now retired mini-milk carton die from Stampin' Up! Although, I think my tops are a little taller.
I hope you enjoy this project, I am almost ready with the Advent Calendar, so it will probably come next week.
