These cute little hearts are a sweet reminder to my Faith Formation kids, that someone loves them enough to die for them. What a wonderful reminder to anyone, especially on Saint Valentine's Day.
But, you could change the message to whatever you want to send, because these little gem heart treat boxes are quick and easy to make, and just take scraps you may have cut off for other projects.
They will hold two chocolate hearts, I used the Palmer Variety Bag of hearts that I bought for $2.49 at Publix, but they are the same size as the Hershey's hearts. They will also fit some of the mini-candy bars, Dove chocolates and more.
