As I got out of my car I heard a BIG BANG...

Sounded like a gun shot, or small explosion...

Then comes the Fire Engine and Police.

I didn't see any Smoke.

But the old Botton Building had an excavator pulling away a large piece of what looked like concrete.

Clearly there is construction, and they built wooden steps to the rear of the stores I assume in effort to keep them from being shut down.

I was a tenant there in 1996, and there were serious issues before my being there almost 30 years ago.
