A better way to wrap paracord. Instead of the standard wrap, you twist a friction button into the bundle so it stays tight no matter how much rope you pull out.
The standard wrap loosens the second you pull cord. The paracord button locks the wraps against themselves with friction — you can loosen it, tighten it, or pull cord out, and the bundle keeps its shape every time.
HOW TO WRAP PARACORD WITH A BUTTON — STEP BY STEP
1. Make your bundle of paracord, leaving the loose end free.
2. Take the loose end and twist it around the bundle 4 times.
3. On the last wrap, leave a loop. Put your hand through that loop and pass it over the bundle.
4. Pull the loose end. The wraps cinch down into a friction-held button.
5. To use cord, pull rope out from the standing end. The button stays put.
6. To tighten back up, cinch the button down again. It works no matter how much rope you've pulled.
