A 12 mile walk along the Lanchester Valley Railway Path in Co. Durham.
Join me this week as I walk from Lydgetts Junction Car Park (free) in Consett to Broompark Picnic Site Car Park (free) along this old railway line.
Although a little monotonous at times this path made for easy walking with beautiful countryside scenery along the way and plenty of wildlife and benches with good views.
