Humans need friction to stay human. And turns out, GenAI needs friction too.
The 5% that actually succeed don't try to eliminate every bump in the road. They design for it. They expect resistance and build systems that get stronger because of it, not in spite of it.
Meanwhile, I'm seeing this "shadow AI" thing everywhere. 90% of employees are quietly using their own AI tools at work because the official company pilots are ‘too polished’ to handle real work.
