It feels like, in today's world, it's time to do away with all forms of cruelty. I was shocked to learn that the death penalty still exists in so many countries. While some places use methods like lethal injection to make executions quick and painless, others still practice brutal forms like decapitation and stoning. Even methods that seem humane can become torture if something goes wrong.
