I try the London Whisky Show exclusive release of Dornoch 5 year old single malt whisky.
Dornoch Distillery is owned by the independent bottlers of Thompson Bros. This release is made with 100% floor malted barley and fermented for 9 days before being distilled! Matured in a 100litre American Oak ex-Koval Bourbon casks for 5 years which previously held a sherried Benrinnes. Bottled at 57.4%abv, Dornoch 5 is non chill filtered and has natural colour presented in a 50cl bottle. I hope you enjoy this review as much as I enjoyed drinking this whisky.
