The V2 features a gravity release scale 'dolly' style undercarriage making the take-off procedure less complicated whilst reducing weight. It simply falls away once you pull up into the climb and the weight comes off the model. A magnetic gear release system is available as an optional extra if you require it, this is really only necessary if you fly from a bumpy strip. The V2 Me-163 is a 4S set-up as standard, this has been achieved by a redesign of the center internal fuselage and wing spar system, it has increased the internal capacity and has also further reduced the AUW of the model. However, the versatility of the power system remains, you can still fly the Komet on a 3S battery if you wish with no change needed to the power system. Even on a 3S set-up, the Komet is no slouch, it is still very fast and a lot of fun. The V2 color scheme is based on the Me-163B "White 10" as flown by Lt. Hans-Ludwig Löscher of 1./JG 400, Brandis, in Germany.Being "Plug N Fly", the motor, ESC, and servos are pre-installed and ready to hook up to your choice of receiver. The molded EPO construction has a highly detailed finish on the outside, and extensive carbon reinforcement internally. The Durafly version of this iconic biplane is a replica of the Shuttleworth Collections Gloster Gladiator Mk1 "K9785", believed to be the only airworthy example flying in the world today. "K9785" depicts the markings of No. 73 Squadron that operated Gloster Gladiators at RAF Mildenhall in England from 1937 to 1938.The model is manufactured in strong EPO foam, to the usual high standards you have come to expect from this range of RC airplanes. As with most other Durafly models, it comes "Plug N Fly". This means it is supplied with an easy-to-assemble airframe, powerful pre-installed 3719-770KV brushless motor, Aerostar 40A ESC, and 4 pre-installed 9g digital servos. A vinyl decal sheet is included, these will need to be applied during the building process, this gives you the choice of using the silver finish as a base for creating your own color scheme. Once the model is assembled, all you require is your choice of 4ch or more receiver and a 2200mAh 4S (14.8V) LiPo battery.The attention to detail is superb from the blistered cowl, scale exhausts, and scale streamlined landing gear with large diameter scale wheels. The ribbed wings, tail, and stringered fuselage depict a fabric-covered airframe, and blistered machine gun housings make this a model you will be proud to own. Scale flying wires are also supplied, the model can be flown with or without them but they do add that realistic scale touch to the Gladiator.The Gladiator has very benign handling characteristics with an almost non-existent stall, and at half power, it flies very scale-like. At full power it becomes a very agile and aerobatic sports model, big loops, axial rolls, and even knife-edge can be performed, it is great fun to fly. The Bobber as in the motorcycle world means that it is a stripped-down, customized version of an original. The Savage Bobber is a stripped-down, customized version of its older brother the Savage Classic. It is lighter, more maneuverable, has a slightly narrower fuselage, and the absence of covering to the rear of the fuselage greatly improves crosswind handling.The H-King version of the Savage Bobber has been designed in the same spirit, but unlike previous versions of this model that have been on the market, this one has been rigorously test flown during development. Our pilots have spent many hours flying and tweaking the setup, including changing the flap hinges to hinge at the bottom to allow for a full 90° deflection. Its slow flight characteristics have subsequently been improved, control is retained down to quite low speeds, and steep landing approaches are achievable. The big tundra-style wheels and robust landing gear allow the Savage Bobber to fly from most types of terrain. The Savage Bobber is a fun plane that is easy and amazing to fly and one of the lightest in the 1000mm wingspan category (approx 650g depending on set-up).The model is hand-crafted from balsa and has a crystal clear plastic windshield, carbon wing joiner, carbon wing struts, and factory-applied covering film with colorful decals. Also supplied is a vacuum-formed plastic cowl, a comprehensive hardware pack, and as mentioned before, it is supplied with scale wheels with large, oversized tundra-type tires.Although small in size it is large in stature, it will definitely stand out from the crowd at the local flying field. Flight Demo - Volantex 759-1 ASW28 V2 HobbyKing 2022-09-06 | Stuart is back with a flight demo but this time on the well-known Volantex 759-1 ASW28 V2 (PNF) Electric Sailplane EPO/Plastic 2540mm. So sit back and enjoy a fun, comfy RC flight demo in our favorite airfield in the Netherlands!The full-scale ASW 28 is a Standard Class glider with a fifteen-meter span built of modern fiber-reinforced composites. The manufacturer of the ASW-28 is Alexander Schleicher GmbH & Co. The "W" indicates this is designed by the influential and prolific German designer Gerhard Waibel. It has tall winglets, retractable landing gear, and a water ballast system. The structure is a complex composite of carbon, aramid, and polyethylene fiber-reinforced plastic. This permits a light structure with the strength to carry large amounts of water ballast, thus permitting the widest possible range of wing loadings for weak and strong soaring weather.The Volantex ASW 28 is a sport-scale model that does incorporate flaps, unlike its full-scale counterpart. It comes plug and fly so you just need to complete some final assembly, install your battery, receiver, and fly. The airframe is a mix of EPO foam for the wings and tail, with a blow-molded plastic fuselage. This gives a slick finish that is also extremely durable. Great for those less-than-perfect slope sites. A recent addition to the ASW 28 is a more powerful 4018-1050kV brushless outrunner motor that rockets the ASW 28 to altitude, then when you throttle down, the propeller folds back for extended soaring. Accessing the battery is easy through the canopy with four small snap locks that keeps the canopy secure.Version 2 comes with lots of extra features. The wings come with two spars in each wing to give extra strength during those tight turns and power dives and the servos have also been upgraded to a more powerful type. Installing the wings is now easier with a plastic latch for securing the wings. Inside there is now a bigger plywood tray to make it easier to carry FPV cameras, VTx's, or other electronics. Landings are now a lot easier with the inclusion of landing gear. The Bobber as in the motorcycle world means that it is a stripped-down, customized version of an original. The Savage Bobber is a stripped-down, customized version of its older brother the Savage Classic. It is lighter, more maneuverable, has a slightly narrower fuselage, and the absence of covering to the rear of the fuselage greatly improves crosswind handling.The H-King version of the Savage Bobber has been designed in the same spirit, but unlike previous versions of this model that have been on the market, this one has been rigorously test flown during development. Our pilots have spent many hours flying and tweaking the setup, including changing the flap hinges to hinge at the bottom to allow for a full 90° deflection. Its slow flight characteristics have subsequently been improved, control is retained down to quite low speeds, and steep landing approaches are achievable. The big tundra-style wheels and robust landing gear allow the Savage Bobber to fly from most types of terrain. The Savage Bobber is a fun plane that is easy and amazing to fly and one of the lightest in the 1000mm wingspan category (approx 650g depending on set-up).The model is hand-crafted from balsa and has a crystal clear plastic windshield, carbon wing joiner, carbon wing struts, and factory-applied covering film with colorful decals. Due to the design, the huge high-performance 2400mm sail opens quickly for easy launching and it will retain its shape even in turbulence. The single-skin durable sail is made from 100% ripstop fabric and comes pre-rigged with tough polyethylene lines and is ready to attach to the durable aluminum gondola. The Paramotor is fitted with a powerful 3530-1400KV brushless motor swinging a 10 x 4.7 propeller, it also has a 50 amp electronic speed controller with 5 amp BEC and 2 powerful 15kg high torque metal geared servos. A 3S lipo battery is recommended and it can vary in capacity to suit different flying conditions. The recommended flying weight is 1.6~2.0kg, in light of wind conditions it is best to put a lighter battery in to keep near the 1.6kg weight. In windy conditions, it is better to put a heavier battery in to fly around the 2kg mark. The Durafly version of this iconic biplane is a replica of the Shuttleworth Collections Gloster Gladiator Mk1 "K9785", believed to be the only airworthy example flying in the world today. "K9785" depicts the markings of No. 73 Squadron that operated Gloster Gladiators at RAF Mildenhall in England from 1937 to 1938.The model is manufactured in strong EPO foam, to the usual high standards you have come to expect from this range of RC airplanes. As with most other Durafly models, it comes "Plug N Fly". This means it is supplied with an easy-to-assemble airframe, powerful pre-installed 3719-770KV brushless motor, Aerostar 40A ESC, and 4 pre-installed 9g digital servos. A vinyl decal sheet is included, these will need to be applied during the building process, this gives you the choice of using the silver finish as a base for creating your own color scheme. Once the model is assembled, all you require is your choice of 4ch or more receiver and a 2200mAh 4S (14.8V) LiPo battery.The attention to detail is superb from the blistered cowl, scale exhausts, and scale streamlined landing gear with large diameter scale wheels. The ribbed wings, tail, and stringered fuselage depict a fabric-covered airframe, and blistered machine gun housings make this a model you will be proud to own. Scale flying wires are also supplied, the model can be flown with or without them but they do add that realistic scale touch to the Gladiator.The Gladiator has very benign handling characteristics with an almost non-existent stall, and at half power, it flies very scale-like. At full power it becomes a very agile and aerobatic sports model, big loops, axial rolls, and even knife-edge can be performed, it is great fun to fly. The Durafly version of this iconic biplane is a replica of the Shuttleworth Collections Gloster Gladiator Mk1 "K9785", believed to be the only airworthy example flying in the world today. "K9785" depicts the markings of No. 73 Squadron that operated Gloster Gladiators at RAF Mildenhall in England from 1937 to 1938.The model is manufactured in strong EPO foam, to the usual high standards you have come to expect from this range of RC airplanes. As with most other Durafly models, it comes "Plug N Fly". This means it is supplied with an easy-to-assemble airframe, powerful pre-installed 3719-770KV brushless motor, Aerostar 40A ESC, and 4 pre-installed 9g digital servos. A vinyl decal sheet is included, these will need to be applied during the building process, this gives you the choice of using the silver finish as a base for creating your own color scheme. Once the model is assembled, all you require is your choice of 4ch or more receiver and a 2200mAh 4S (14.8V) LiPo battery.The attention to detail is superb from the blistered cowl, scale exhausts, and scale streamlined landing gear with large diameter scale wheels. The ribbed wings, tail, and stringered fuselage depict a fabric-covered airframe, and blistered machine gun housings make this a model you will be proud to own. Scale flying wires are also supplied, the model can be flown with or without them but they do add that realistic scale touch to the Gladiator.The Gladiator has very benign handling characteristics with an almost non-existent stall, and at half power, it flies very scale-like. At full power it becomes a very agile and aerobatic sports model, big loops, axial rolls, and even knife-edge can be performed, it is great fun to fly.
