ENJOY2FLY Fattie F14 Maiden Just Plane Crazy 2022-08-07 | The f14 fattie enjoy2fly for a maiden. Not grass capable. Needs to be flown in fast. 4s 4000 mah for power. Flew better than expected. Even off pavement the prop rubs. The retract were a nice touch but won’t handle bad landing. This plane needs to land fast. Steering is over done and can be dialed back with less throw. Maiden Flight of the 50cc Maxford USA Antonov An-2 from Gator-Rc Just Plane Crazy 2022-05-31 | Join me for the Maiden flight of the Maxford USA Antonov An-2 available at Gator Rc. This plane also has an unboxing and a build on my channel. Two different covering schemes available. With several different things on this plane that I have not seen before I didn't really know what to expect. The plane assembles at the field in 5 minutes using the clevis design for the wires. The engine is trust worthy and reliable and the Kingmax servos always stout. On take off throttle she hops right off the ground. It needed a bit of down trim only due to the fact the elevators are difficult to eyeball a neutral. flight was easy at less than 1/2 throttle and maneuvers were graceful at 3/4. The EME 60 with Autostart provides more than enough power using the 4 blade 20x10 prop. I set up mine with flaperons and that helped the roll rate a good bit. All factor recommendations are good. They didn't give you one for the flaps and I opted for 15mm and 20mm. Landing are easy and controllable. Not sure how the gear will hold up to a pancake but what gear will. Overall Brenden loves planes that are different. This one my friends is very different. I have yet to see one at a field. I think its a winner and well worth a look. Unboxing planes is essential. I often find badly built models have bad packaging. Everything in this box was not only nicely wrapped and protected but also secured. The Seagull Models Super Decathlon from Gator Rc flew great right off the runway. Very little to no trim was needed. I had low and high rates set to manufacture spec. I also put the cg where recommended. This led to a nice flying plane both inverted and upright. The flaps slow it down a lot for landing making them oh so gentle. The DA100 gives it a ton of power. I can see a da70 flying this plane but not 3d capable. As I get more Use to this plane hopefully Knife edge looks better as well as I love to do harriers. Power is fantastic. Take off was easy. A little trim needed for level flight. Plane fly's fine at 1/2 throttle. This stick will easily do any basic maneuver. Its put out there to be a 3d plane. I am not sure your gonna gain that with the stock setup. Better servos, longer throws and arms maybe you could get there. 1500mm pnp XFly Tasman from Bitgo Hobby, This is an Impressive Easy Flyer! Just Plane Crazy 2022-01-23 | #Xfly #BitgoHobby #JustPlaneCrazyOn a day that started off at -1* this was a welcome site to the day. It handles everything well. It flys true and handles the ground, takeoff, landing, snow and goes well. Time on a 4s 2200 is over 4 minutes and on a 4000 still flys amazing and was almost 10 minutes. This can easily be a good morning and early morning flyer, beginner flyer or go beat it anytime flyer. Xfly and Bitgo got a winner here. The down side to this model is live foam hinges. If they would have used traditional hinges this would have been 100% home run. The battery compartment is perfectly suited for any battery you want to throw in it. Very little wrong in the covering or build to grab your negative attention. I did discover later that i had a crack in the windshield area sheeting. A small repair and its back onto the build. I love the quality of the online directions, super strong linkage connections for this plane, Tail linkage and super wide open fuse area. The lights and oleo type struts are very nice. The down sides of the build are the live foam hinges, and having to cut the canopy a bit to get the mast to fit. Over all the build is super simple yet fun.
