Wagner Leitmotifs | 89 Erda's Awakening : Der Ring Des Nibelungen @wagnerleitmotifs7654 | Uploaded September 2013 | Updated October 2024, 11 hours ago.
This leitmotif is first heard in act 3 scene 1 of Siegfried.

This accompanies Wotans song to wake up Erda from her long sleep so that he can seek her advice. It is a very bright motif as it includes Wotan's hope of redemption through her council.
