What if a ship full of books could do more for a city than any bookstore ever could?
In this episode of God on the Move Alexandrea Alexis shares how God led her from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to serving on the @LogosHope, the world’s largest floating book fair, and eventually into an advanced preparation leadership role ahead of the ship’s UK tour. She explains the ship’s mission of sharing knowledge, help, and hope through discounted educational literature, community programs, and partnership with local churches and organizations, including outreach and prayer initiatives across London. Coming from the island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Alexandrea (27) has served onboard the MV Logos Hope for the past three years. What first started as prayer to serve led to God working in her life in ways that she never would have imagined. Reflecting on her life, she is able to see God's hand preparing her for where she is now - from moving to the USA during her formative years, then having to transition back into her home culture as a late teen, as well as being exposed to missions at a young age. Not only that, as she journeyed with the ship, she has been able to see God's hand in the places that she visited and understand the importance of presence. As Alex comes to the end of her time onboard, she looks forward to what God has in store for her but is content in her season of "waiting on God".
