This is a micro hydro install making over 800w of power in western North Carolina. The first box is called a Coanda screen intake. The water travels down 1000 feet of 4" poly pipe to the Turgo system. This two hydro head unit is sending 3 phase ac power up to the house where it is converter to DC power to be stored in batteries or used by the inverter to power the loads in the home.
