Episode 33 of the ongoing Halemaʻumaʻu eruption began at 3:11 AM HST on Sept 19.
North vent fountain heights are around 700–800 feet, the tallest since Episode 28 in July.
The south vent briefly joined at 4:00 AM with a dome fountain and branching flow, but drained back at 4:05 AM.

HVO Messages and Field Notes:

3:11 AM: Episode 33 eruption begins with continuous fountaining, sharp tremor increase, and rapid tilt drop.

3:20–3:56 AM: Fountains build from 100 ft to 700–800 ft, inclined to the northeast.

4:00–4:05 AM: South vent produces dome fountain and branching flow before draining back.

After 4:05 AM: North vent fountains remain unchanged, continuing at 500–800 ft with a plume ~10,000 ft AGL.
