A house explosion in central Illinois sent eight people to area hospitals with serious injuries this week.

According to NBC affiliate WEEK in Peoria, the explosion occurred in the community of Danvers in McLean County on Tuesday night. Aerial footage from WEEK showed the extent of the damage the following morning, with the house completely destroyed by the blaze and several neighboring structures suffering heat damage. Multiple vehicles were also destroyed by the fire.

No information on the cause of the explosion has yet been released.
