I think it really says something that I had this footage resting on my hard drive for actual days, forgetting to process and upload it. Its so tough to LP this game in subtle ways. Its really good at demanding you take it seriously.
Just like you have to divide up the budget between research and other needs like construction, maintenance, and savings, you have to divide your brain up to play SOTS and talk about it.
Not to mention there are times where just not a lot is happening. In future series, Im going to work on only having the camera on when it deserves to be. A very different style from my usual zero-editing approach-")

We do some technical tests and really push the limit of what the game can do. Or rather, what my computer can do with the game. Results are severely mixed, as are my rather, uh, developing skills, but hey. Ive gotten better since this recording.

Oh, and Hunter hasnt slept yet. Those strange drugs recovered earlier are starting to look really useful now...
Regardless of potential side effects in the future.

No VATS.
No Fast Travel.
No My First Infirmary.
Must eat, drink, and sleep every day.
Ironman - No reloading, even on death.
The games difficulty is set to Hard.

I figure since were (hopefully) drawing to a close this chapter of galactic history, we may as well burst it down. Plus, like. Super Star Destroyers. All sorts of neat Tech 5 stuff thats so far above the vanilla units. Is it balanced?
Well, like, everyone gets the over-the-top stuff, so in a way, it is balanced. Although the AI clearly is not conditioned to think consideriing those bigger ships, it seems to prefer a swarm of smaller units. In a lot of strategy games, this could be a viable strategy.
Not, uh, not really here. Well, well see. The AIs surprised me in the past.

Im finding that I dont really have a set main character, although over time I settle into a selection of normally-picked roles. Thats sort of what Overwatch is about; limiting ones self to one of 20+ classes seems a bit pointless, to me.
