I'm finding that I don't really have a set 'main' character, although over time I settle into a selection of normally-picked roles. That's sort of what Overwatch is about; limiting one's self to one of 20+ classes seems a bit pointless, to me.

Its been far too long coming for those Raider swine, and now that weve got some serious grade military equipment, and a companion, its time to go to market on these jokers. Plus, Hunter would feel a lot better about leaving Megaton possibly for an extended period of time if he can clear out a nearby nest of bandits.
The supply cache hopefully waiting inside would also make him feel better, assuming his skills on the trigger dont fail him now. Well see.
SUMMARY OF MY RP RUN RULES:
No VATS.
No Fast Travel.
No My First Infirmary.
Must eat, drink, and sleep every day.
Ironman - No reloading, even on death.
The games difficulty is set to Hard.

Were priming two of the most likely races for Federation membership, although the approaches will need to be much different. This is the essence of poltiics and diplomacy; sometimes, you need one tool, and sometimes, you need orbital bomb launchers.

Symmetra, Mercy, Tracer, were really exploring our feminine side today. All of them have hyper-distinct playstyles, because this game is awesome and has a lot of diversity in design and classes. Yeah, its part of the newly emergent genre of TF2likes, but theres a lot of gradients and differences.
Oh, and also, Junkrat makes things explode a lot, theres misery, and he dies. I figure thats pretty canon-compliant.

This is essentially the direct opposite of the last game; a campaign where I hit all the sliders to maximum, and may deeply regret it. But theres also a certain peaceful majesty in such a great campaign. Putting a few minutes or hours into it at a time, then putting it down, safe in the knowledge its going to take many more to conclude.
It reminds me of that old Galactic Civilzations 2 LP, where I set the size way, way too large and let way too much Dead Time pass. But it was fun. Ill have to work on that balance, since Im having a lot of fun with this one.
Hivers dont care about distance is a usefully-true adage that isnt technically accurate... since the greater the size of a map, the greater the advantage that redounds to the Hiver player. The inverse is certainly true.")

Our goal continues to be to unite the entire solar system in a peaceful Federation, and we certainly wont take deliberate steps towards, or allow if its possible to avoid, genocide.
Sometimes, though, even our best might not be enough. The life of an intelligent, if jerk-y, race hangs by the barest thread.
And whether or not they succeed this time, the Thoraxians and Burlusts are, definitely, going to try this shit again, and again, unless we do something to remove their capacity to wipe out the others.

I dont know why, but I didnt see outdoors focused in Shizune until this point. I guess part of it is Im really not, so hey. Anyhow, we all go fishing together, and honestly, it was a pretty good time.
Even if Shizunes natural competitive urges threaten to spark a third great war. Or, as she thinks about it, Tuesday.
Wed be getting a lot further, a lot faster, if this crashing issue could be resolved. Im not sure if its my aging machine, or the games program itself. Probably both.
