dealing with imposter syndrome as a cosplayer/creative with ADHD vaultfox 2022-09-09 | I've dealt with imposter syndrome ... pretty much my entire life, but doubly so when it comes to cosplay and creating content. Throwing ADHD into that mix just makes everything even worse because now all of that self-doubt and time blindness takes over and somehow I'm four hours into working on a cosplay and can't remember exactly what I did to make it! Lately I've been stressing about doing things "the right way", or I guess in simpler terms, the "neurotypical way" even though that's not how my brain works. I crave novelty and variety and need to switch things up a lot ... like with scripting my youtube videos. Most of the time I type out scripts on my laptop but have been enjoying writing them on my phone, but I STILL struggle with the fact that writing scripts on a phone doesn't feel like "the right way" to do it! Can You Sell 3D Prints? - Discussing the Relationship Between 3D Modeler and Maker vaultfox 2022-06-23 | This is such a nuanced topic BUT it remains the most common question I'm asked across social media. While I'm not a 3D modeler myself and only have experience working with other modelers files, I do have some insight to the relationship between 3D modeler and the maker wishing to print files ... which I find is the most commonly misunderstood thing when it comes to selling 3D prints.Like I mentioned, this video was more about your relationship with the 3D Modeler as opposed to the 3D modeler's relationship with the IP holder and various copyright laws that are ever-changing as 3D printing has gone more mainstream. How to Pack for a Convention - Tips and Tricks for Traveling with Multiple Cosplays and Props vaultfox 2021-09-15 | so DragonCon happened! it was a lot of fun but it also meant I had to REMEMBER HOW TO PACK MY COSTUMES! In this video I share a few of my tips and tricks on packing for a convention and getting things there safely and through TSA checks without anything getting tossed or confiscated!I'll most likely do these packing videos for each convention I attend in the future because no two conventions are the same in terms of the costumes I bring. For DragonCon, I kept in mind the fact that I was flying to the convention and didn't want to bring more than one checked bag.
