Supply List:
Mod fabrics in bright and colorful designs - I used the "A Blooming Bunch" Collection designed by Maureen McCormick for Moda.
Pencil, Scissors, and graph paper OR a 5-inch square ruler to cut squares,
Sewing machine (zigzag capable) with thread to match fabrics,
1/2 yard of trim for hem, I used a 1-inch wide daisy trim,
Iron, Ironing surface,
Strong Quilting or Craft thread, Needle and Thimble (Optional)
For Face: 25mm round wooden head bead, Woodburning tool, Red Acrylic paint, Bamboo skewer, Fine-point brown permanent marker, Cosmetic blush, Cotton Swab, Paper Plate.
One yard of 6-inch wide tulle in color to coordinate with fabric,
1/2 yard of 1/16-inch natural-colored satin ribbon for hanging loop,
Hot Glue Gun,
1/2 yard of approximately 5/8-inch wide flat white lace for collar,
Baker's Twine in coordinating color - I used pink,
Small embellishment for collar, I used a pink daisy applique,
For wings: Scrapbooking paper in coordinating print - I used the "Floral Poetry" collection available at JoAnn Fabrics,
Die Cutting Machine and a scalloped circle die approximately 5 inches across - OR a circle die OR a cd to trace for the wings,
Acrylic Yarn in yellow or your choice of hair color,
3x5-inch index cards and thread to match yarn,
20 gauge gold-colored wire and wire cutters,
