Most factions in Fallout aren’t exactly renowned for their friendliness. Many are hostile to outsiders, and some will even go out of their way to wreak as much havoc across the Wasteland as they can. These are the 7 Nastiest Fallout Factions.

7 Nastiest Fallout Factions (in text form)
7. Slaver’s Guild: Let’s be real for a moment, there’s a lot of questionable stuff going on in Fallout 2. But perhaps the most sadistic comes from the Slaver’s Guild. As the name suggests, it a group that operates a slave trade out of the New California Republic. They operate in a sort of secrecy, since NCR Rangers are permitted to shoot slavers on site. The Rangers don’t get to do all the killing, though. If you’re unlucky or just stupid enough to try to sell slaves with the Slaver’s blessing, you’ll likely be killed. Aside from the, the Slaver’s Guild is sort of your everyday slave trade operation. The slaves are property and treated as such.
6. The White Glove Society: At first glance, the White Glove Society might just appear to be weirdos in masks who operate an otherwise ordinary, albeit high-end, casino. However, as many unfortunate wastelanders and travelers could attest to, if they were still alive, there is far more to them than meats the eye. They do offer standard casino games like Blackjack and Roulette, the main attraction of the casino is their restaurant, The Gourmand, which is well-known for it’s luxurious and succulent steaks. Their steaks are human meat. That’s where I was going with this. They kill people, cook them, then turn them into dinner.
5. Caesar’s Legion: A group of brutal Roman wannabes, the Legion despise democracy and frivolous luxuries. To the Legion, there are those who exist to survive, and those who live to serve a greater purpose, who can look death in the eye and tell it to fuck off because they’ve got shit to do. Those who exist to survive are animals and are beneath them. Almost sub-human, which is why they’re treated as slaves most of the time. Humans do not have inherent value simply because they’re alive. All need to be judged based on their own merits. They also crucify people.
4. The Jackals: The Jackals are seemingly your run-of-the-mill gang in Fallout. Originating from Vault 15 alongside several other groups, they, with the Vipers, were once a relatively dominant and feared group in the Mojave area until they were both almost wiped out by the NCR many years before New Vegas takes place. The thing about the Jackals is that, unlike many gangs that are obsessed with drugs, they are cannibals. They are savages that file their teeth into razor sharp points, allowing them to easily rip and tear flesh from those who are unfortunate enough to cross their path.
3. Covenant. In a world where people might not even be people, you’ve got a group of kind-hearted folk who assist those they can and help the Commonwealth prosper. Well, not quite. Doctor Roslyn Chambers arrived at the Covenant prior to the events of Fallout 4 and turned it into a place to help those who suffered at the hands of synths. They’re pretty anti-Synth, to the point where they developed the SAFE test to ensure no synths infiltrate their settlement.
2. Think Tank: The scientists who are a part of the Think Tank are scientists and researchers, the greatest and brightest minds pre-war Earth had to offer, who survived in Big MT when the Great War took place. After the war, the executives began work on a project to allow them to survive long into the future by transferring their brains and consciousness into “think tanks”. Brains in robots. The other researchers and workers died.
1. The Master’s Army: Like many factions throughout both Fallout and entertainment, they, The Master, believe that they’re doing something for the betterment of humanity. In reality, though, they are monsters. The Master’s plan is/was to turn what remained of humanity into the perfect beings by forcing them to evolve, usually via FEV.

While Halo 2 and 3 are widely regarded as the best games in the series, Halo 4’s campaign still tells a pretty solid story. But today’s question is not one of quality, instead, it’s a question of stupidity. Can You Beat Halo 4 Without Taking Any Damage?

Can You Beat Halo 4 Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
Our story begins the same way Halo Reach ends, with Master Chief in cryo-sleep. There’s been a ruckus onboard the Forward Unto Dawn and it’s time to [stupidly] “gEt BaCk To WoRk”, as Steve Downs would say. The orange light blesses us with its presence, we do some quicktime player BS with an Elite that surprisingly didn’t deal any damage, and we get into combat for the first time. Nothing crazy so far because the Assault Rifle isn’t a glorified bubble blower in this game. But something still felt off. It was my controls. Using a trigger to zoom in in a Halo game is just wrong.
After getting things set up the way I like, I discovered that throwing grenades is a lot harder than it looks. With the Covenant temporarily fought off, it was time to activate the ship’s weapon system, which meant venturing out into the great outdoors. But before we can get some fresh air we’ve got a few corridors to fight through. It was in the third of these sections that I figured out how this game differs from Halo 3. The Storm Rifle fires plasma at a faster velocity than the Plasma Rifle, so it’s tougher to dodge the shots in close quarters situations, especially when there are multiple enemies to deal with. The Elites also seem to be a little beefed up compared to the Elites in Halo 2 and 3 on Easy.
In general, there are three strategies we can employ throughout this run. The first is to run head first, or nose first in my case, into the line of fire and pray to Fisto that we dodge the enemy’s shots. The second is to sit back and pick off enemies from a distance before moving forward through the cleared out area. The third is a combination of the last two where we try to get through an area but paying more attention to where enemies are than to killing them.
After spending more time inside the ship than I would have liked, we finally get out into nature. Nothing says nature like less gravity and dozens of aliens trying to kill you. Rather than going straight for the switch, I stuck to the outer reaches of the platform and sniped a few Grunts with my Battle Rifle. Then I tried to cheat things a bit by doing some sweet parkour.
It didn’t work. With my pride damaged and my shields intact, I pushed onward through the Covenant forces, watched as the Carbine I desperately wanted floated away, out of reach, found another Carbine a few seconds later, pressed yet another button, kicked a missile into orbit, then retreated back inside the ship the escape the Great Suck of the Forerunner planet.
That didn’t really go as planned because not even 30 minutes into this playthrough and we’ve taken damage. It can’t be avoided, but damage is damage so no, You Can’t Beat Halo 4 Without Taking Any Damage. Before you get your toes in a twist, this is not the first time this has happened. So we’ll just ignore it like I do my bills and move on to the next level: Requiem.
The first bit of Requiem is easy, but there’s an opportunity to knock a tire off a cliff and watch it go flying into the abyss, and that’s not something you’ll wanna miss. Hop in a Warthog and go for a drive, then swap that Warthog out for a new one, then do one more switcheroo and the fighting begins. There’s a cache, or whatever you call it, of Carbines available and the Grunts and such are out in the open, making it trivial at best to get through this area.

![Fallout 76 Isn’t What You Think It Is
Bethesda has revealed their newest Fallout game: Fallout 76. Everyone was immediately excited for a brand new adventure in the wasteland. Here’s the problem: Fallout 76 probably isn’t what you think it is.

Fallout 76 Isn’t What You Think It Is (in text form)
The first piece of this puzzle comes from 4chan. On December 28, 2017, someone said that the next Fallout game would be Fallout 76, a Fallout themed Rust clone. Rust is a multiplayer-only game where you survive in the wilderness by crafting items and building rudimentary structures. Someone posted about Fallout 76 again on May 12, 2018 saying “? Fuck if I know if it’s going to be at E3. It’s called Fallout 76, I heard about it over the holidays so it might’ve been canned”. A third mention of Fallout 76 came this morning with the user saying “figuratively, yeah. its called Fallout 76 and the map is set alongside an interstate highway. don’t know much other than that”.
It’s one thing to suggest a new genre for the Fallout franchise, but to correctly state the name of the game 5 months before its reveal lends credence to the idea that they’re right. Yesterday, on May 29th, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier wrote an article about Bethesda’s Fallout live stream. Towards the end of the article he said “Some fans have also theorized that this might be some sort of remaster of Fallout 3 or Switch port of Fallout 4, but from what we’ve heard, this is a new game, one that takes the series in a brand new direction.” A brand new direction suggests that it’s not just a new setting, but a new type of game that the Fallout franchise hasn’t tacked yet. Schreier also said on Twitter “if you spend weeks getting hyped for a single-player RPG, you will be disappointed.”
If you’re wondering about Jason Schreier’s credibility, he confirmed all the way back in December 2013 that Fallout 4 would be set in Boston, there would be an engineer character named Sturges, a radio DJ named Travis, and the Institute being a part of Fallout 4.
Another hint about Fallout 76 being a survival base-building sort of game comes from the teaser trailer itself which concluded with a voiceover saying When the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild”.
There are rumors going around that Fallout 76 is being developed by Bethesda’s Maryland studio and their studio in Austin, which was formerly known as BattleCry Studios. BattleCry studios were working on Battlecry, an online PVP game with “team-based combat, intense tactical warfare and competitive multiplayer action”. Battlecry was shown at Bethesda’s 2015 E3 showcase. In October 2015, Battlecry Studios announced that they had halted production of Battlecry to work on other projects. It’s possible that Bethesda hired them to help with development of Fallout 76. After all, Bethesda acquired them in March 2018 and renamed them Bethesda Game Studios Austin.
Here’s the potentially cool thing about Fallout 76 possibly being an online survival-type game. If there’s any preexisting franchise that would fit this genre, it’s Fallout. Rumors and speculation suggest that 76 is going to take place 25 years after the Great War, so we’ll get to see a freshly annihilated West Virginia. No settlements have been created, no Brotherhood of Steel, no Legion, no Railroad, no NCR. Instead of trying to save your vault or track down your son, you’re goal is simply to survive.
