Fyodor Dostoevsky, Charles Dickens, John Steinbeck, Jane Austen...names you'll hear over and over again when discussing literature...and for good reason! Classics become classics most often because they are worthy of the praise, but we come to places like YouTube looking for booktubers to connect with, often only to leave hearing the same books discussed time and time again.

To be honest, most of us are probably already aware of these authors if we graduated high school.

But sometimes books fall through the cracks. For one reason or another, books are forgotten by the passage of time, or maybe they never got the recognition they deserved in the first place.

Somehow, I've kind of built a reputation as being the "obscure literature" guy, even though there are certainly people who are reading way more obscure books than I am, but in this video, I discuss 6 books that I think are both worthy of your attention, and don't get nearly enough love online.
