Quick update showing how the portable solar panel mounting trailer came out. Has allowed me to run some light loads with the EG4 3000 inverter the last couple weeks. 2 freezers, 2 refrigerators, grow lights along with some tv's and appliances. Will be stepping up to an EG4 1200XP soon along with better batteries that should handle backup of the entire house. Electricity just jumped to 29.3 cents per KWH delivered that was a shocker. It was 14 cents a KWH delivered a little over a year ago when I installed the heat pump water heater. Hopefully next step will handle that load also. Solar is like Crack. Once you get hooked it's an expensive addiction.
