Gameplay up from the beginning pauses follows standard top level day/eclipse manipulation.
Each strats are represented by two clips, separated by a save-stated done during a pause that I've edited to last 4 frames. The beginning segment of all the delayed strats are the same. This is why the audio is much louder for those than in the normal strat, because it plays three times at once. This ends after the pause.
For a while, you had a lot of leeway in making it to the Moo due to the eclipse being in the way. But I wondered if disrupting the normal time cycle would allow new and faster alternatives, and so here we are.
We do this by waiting a little bit before entering the door at the beginning.
Much like we wait exactly around 5,1 seconds after the pink Eclispe spawns, in order to have a faster cycle for the Moo cage grab skip in any%, here in no skips we wait before entering the door so when we come back it's instantly day with no transitions, although the eclipse will already begin to peek around in a couple seconds (technical details technical details).
It seems like this time you'll have to wait 5,5 (or more) to return outside at the gate section while the sky is clear.
Left is second fastest, but if you miss the very tight end spring jump to land on the top edge, and bonk on the wall, it's probably as fast if not slower than right consistent.
Fast right is fast but stupid. The pink eclipse actually becomes a pain in the ass to deal with for the first time in its whole life, and you will most likely get hit at least once. Else, if you try and move it away (see right consistent), you won't be fast enough with the flames cycle at the end.
So bottom right seems like the most consistent and easy fast strat, still saving 2,8 sec over standard strat though you'll have to take two whole points of damage.
This besides : I honestly didn't realize until now that you could walk right through those flames lol. Avoided doing it for so long

I honestly forgot about doing those. Better late than ever.
Anyways, easy stage, not very different without Popka. Only dangerous part we have to cross twice is at 7:42.
At 8:24 and 10:31, I attempted to skip the door opening animation.
In the first instance I pulled it off, but got a bad outcome that slowed me down in the end, as the displaced Klonoa opening animation shouldn’t have happened. I dont think it is random, rather I think I shouldnt have spammed jump there.
And at the end is the successful outcome.
It’s the fastest Popka/less strat for entering this door, though a bit tight and the time-save is negligible when used in the former category.
[18 may 2022 : this trick isnt possible on the alternate version of this stage because there arent any Goomis around.]
Mira-Mira will absolutely make up for the lack of difficulty in this stage...

My run for the PlayStation Racing race ! (https:// therun.gg/races/ricky-weekly-18)
Landed second, beaten by amoser by a dozen seconds. Good fun !
Kind of the same thing as the previous PB but apparently I was faster by 13 seconds.
I got first try ultimate 6-2, thats about the only good thing.
Well, I thought my movement for Naha III was sick looking, even thought I got awful RNG.
Rip Gelg Bolm, I had a pretty nice perfect fight streak until now. Also the fight on its own costed me 40 seconds, I didnt even anticipate it to be this bad.
Awful 6-1, better but not fast Ghadius still in three runs
If Gelb Bolm was perfect, this would be 37 Klonoa : Door to Phantomile any% in 38:31 [Obsolete]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qKeWU9_yEL4/mqdefault.jpg)
